A collection of art, gifts and collectibles featuring images from the famous Nigerian born artisan known worldwide for his landscape themes.
Growing up in southeastern Nigeria Kanayo keenly observed the colors and designs on the Dutch-wax fabrics his father, a textile dealer, imported from Holland into Nigeria, and this Kanayo says was his introduction to the magic of colors.
After obtaining a BFA degree from the University Of Maiduguri in the former ancient Kanem Bornu Empire, he worked as an art instructor at a college of education where he taught human drawing and landscape painting.
